Yagya Authorities

Staff Members and their authorities in A Yagya

Yagya is a big event. However it is done for thusands of years in India, it is still a tradition and is done mostly by traditional Pandits. Almost 95% of them do not get proper education at any Sanskrit University and therefore there is much chaos. When you follow an education, then you have learnt  a uniform pattern of rituals and used mantras but as they don't get properly educated, the pronunciations of mantras and the pattern of performing rituals vary majorly by each pandit. Moreover there will be much chaos if a group of Pandits is perfoming and there are no rules and regulations. In india, people are grown with religious believes; so they believe it blindly and most of them don't dare to check or don't care what the Pandits are doing. Of course they do regularly pujas but not the Yagyas everytime in our definitions.
To prevent all these chaos and to educate the clients about what all has to happen, following the standard of eurpean and American norms of services, Ved Bhawan organizes and maintains its standard of well-organized performances through its crews. Here are some outlines about the duties devided into different authorityes to prevent any mismanagement or misunderstanding.

Council of Ved Bhawan

Council is responsible to run the organization and to take decisions in a rayer situation or matters. The council is legally and physically the ordering authority. President is not counted in council. For example, any relaxation in donation or any change in Yagya Regulation is approved by the council of Ved Bhawan International. Appointment of partners and staffs are also one the duties of council. In a Yagya for an individual, a councilor is sufficient to take decision but for a Yagya for a country, city, society the whole council must be taken in confidence. In a Yagya, council never interferes unless it comes to organisational prestige and structure.

Yagya Head

Yagya Head is the head of whole Vedic Yagya Programme. He is always a scholar of Veda and Yagya plus a good administrative skills. He has interfere in all activities in Yagya. Everything must be kept in his knowledge. He also decides how the Yagya shall take place and if there is difference of opinion between Pandits, staffs, clients or if there is any difficulty during Yagya.

Advisor

An advisor is real person who mediates between the member and the organization. An advisor is the scholar of Jyotish, Yagya, Veda and Management. He has done the jobs of Head Pandit, Manager, Astrologer and Co-ordinator in past before he becames advisor. At this post only scholars will sit because this is very risky post when you need to decide prompt, at the spot, anytime and in any situation. You have to take care of every needs and emotions of the member and without reaching him pain you have to manage his Yagya at the best possible standard. An advisor is, let us say, the advocate of member/client and always thinks for the benefits of member being reasonable to the organization. To prevent any miscommunication or misinterpretation, only advisor is allowed to call or communicate with member / client directly. Every one must go via Advisor. Advisor has the authority to reach directly to anyone including the councilor in favor of the member. A member is supposed to contact the advisor in each and every case. Ved Bhawan doesn't find it pleasant if a member or anyone else skips this rule as the Yagya gets then misorganized. However for accounting / billing needs a member may contact the accountant too. The same can be done for website related problems or for login issues, when a member may contact the webmaster directly without involving the advisor.

Co-ordinator

A Co-ordinator is basically the leader of Yagya Who know each and every Pandit and his abilities. He decides which Pandits will go where and what he will do. The Performance side of Yagya is taken care by him. He plans the Yagya, makes the schedules, inspects the Yagya Performances, takes attendances, and checks and intereviews each pandits before or during Yagya. He has authority to terminate any Pandit or Head Pandit immediately for a reason that influences a Yagya or the organization.

Head Pandit

Head Pandit performs main ritual, everyday ritual and implements the Yagya according to the plans by Yagya Coordinator. Good and bad performance is his responsibility. He commands all the pandits and follows the instructions of Yagya Coordinators.

Manager

Yagya Manager is the person who manages the Yagya materially. Providing goods and all the resources is the duty of manager.

Pandit

Pandits are those Vedic Scholars who are educated at the University specially for Yagya, who have been brought up in traditional family of Brahmins, as well as who have been specially trained to perform special kinds of Mantra / Ritual / Yagya as per the stanbdard of Ved Bhawan which is much higher, strict and organized in comparison to othert treaditional Yagya people. A Pandit follows all the rules of Vedic and natural living and eats only fruits during the days of Yagya. He live without any materialistic lust including physical relations as well as he follows daily performances needed to be a Pandits.

Astrologer

An Astrologer is minimum a Jyotish Acharya (Master of Astrology) from an Indian Vedic University and has been trained specially for international clients, their needs and their emotions. Astrologers must work in the group of 3 out of which 1 must be having post-graduate education of Veda / Yagya too. The astrologers analyze your horoscope, recommend Yagya, give consultation and make Yagya Analyze. All our astrologers, who work for Yagya Department, have knowledge of symptoms of problems and functionality of Yagya for a situation. The astrologers decide which Yagya and when should be performed, but how ? That is decided by Head Pandit.

Accountant

Accountant, as usual keeps records of donations, empliments and collects donation and in case of un-expected situation, may command Head Pandit the Yagya to stop. Everyone must follow his command. He doesn’t need any approval for his command however a councilor can overrule his command. When a member doesn’t make donation, it’s not possible to buy things for Yagya or to pay the pandits. In that situation the accountant issues the command to hold the Yagya for 24 hours and thereafter to stop that. If a Yagya is stopped, its too bad, as the oath was not completed. The evil of stopping Yagya believeable goes 70 % to the member and 30% to the pandits and other. Therefore its always attemted not to stop a Yagya. A manager manages the payment and payment methods, implements reduction regulations and offers reduction if applicable. A councilor can advise the accountant for a reduction in a special case however the accountant may dishonour that if it’s not comfortable for organization.

Webmaster

Webmaster, updates your Yagya informations and progress reports on the web. He creates your member area, helps you with log in problems and other information over member area. The webmaster gets the Yagya Informations directly from the Head Pandit and posts on internet. When you send urgent message, it’s the duty of webmaster to arrange that the pandits should get this message with-in minutes.
